Blog:

Facebook Sign In

Hello Facebookers.   Now you can use your facebook ID to sign on to the comment board. It's fast and easy and will automatically use your profile pic from facebook. On this page, you are not confined to a specific topic in the comments, (not that you are anywhere else really)... but here you can just give me a shout out or something. There is now a Facebook sign in button for comments - as well as Twitter, OpenId, Yahoo...

I created that link with the facebook button in this row of gadgets that is at the bottom of every article on this website. Anyone with a facebook page can do it.:

applause7Sign in here with your Facebook ID
The comment section is up and running! On the blog comment board, you can now sign in with several of your existing ID's. If you have a facebook page, click this facebook button  fconnect you'll see it just above the comment box. Click it and you will be signed in with your facebook ID, including your profile picture. The other options available are your Disqus, Twitter or OpenID accounts.

Site Memberships - Open Registration
There is also open registration for kcvideo.com website accounts. When you become a site member, you will have access to certain things that mere visitors do not. In the future, that will include special content areas and additional features for my photography and video customers. For right now, the first thing you'll might notice when you sign in with your new account , is a new menu item, styles, which will enable you to change the look of the entire site with just one click. Wow, now isn't that exciting?

In General - The Website
I've merged a lot of technologies into this design and so far, everything seems to be working well. I'm interested in how well the media players on the showcase page work over a wider base. The key with those is the ability to go full screen... and I wonder if sometime the fullscreen icon might get pushed out where it can't be seen.

Take a look around and let me know how you like the new design in general, what works what doesn't, etc. Or if you notice any other bugs or errors, contact me and let me know.
