If you haven't used one of my full screen slideshows before, here's what you need to know:
Click on the go button at left - to open the slideshow interface.
Your screen will go black ! -That's good... please wait... watch the red stripe...wow...
It takes 10 seconds or so to load, you should see a couple of red stripes work through...
Music will start - this means you're ready to go. Look at the buttons around the edges of the screen... you can turn sound on or off, etc.
This is a full screen viewer - so please click the full screen arrow in the upper right corner. (click again to reverse anytime)
Lastly, go to the menu button in upper left of the screen -- it's pulsing to get your attention - and hover over that to reveal the menus.... make your selection.
Makes a Great Screensaver!

Thanks to The Gardner News
You can thank The Gardner News for these photos. They send me out to the games. I shoot hundreds of photos at the game then I pick out a handful for the Gardner News to use for the print edition of the paper. I've become a fan along the way and enjoy showing the photos here. It also gives me a chance to show off my web skills too - I shot these photos - sorted, processed & organized them - wrote this blog article - made a custom full screen slideshow and created a section in my photostore for ordering prints - all in 24 hours. I can do these types of things for you too.
The Road To State
With the Trailblazers, you don't have to wait long for a big play. I only need a few exciting shots, and there's usually sparks on the first drive. I've always got some good stuff by the time the first quarter is over.
But now it's different. This is the Post Season. .
Next up is the State Championship Game. Next up is a Goliath.
This next game will be the ultimate test - for sure. No early lead is going to feel safe enough for either team. The shots that tell the real story of this game now in the 3rd & 4th quarters. This game will likely be about who has the stamina to stand to the final whistle. Maybe not so much about all the big plays but about who can play well through 4 quarters.
I spent a couple minutes in the Trailblazers pre-game locker room at Aquinas. These young men are well coached, focused, determined and ready. Then I saw the reflection of that manifest into a dominating win on the playing field, against a worthy opponent.
These two teams met in the 2009 regular season and GEHS held on for a 2 point win in that game. Despite the blowout, there was some adversity for the Blazers to overcome early on. Aquinas scored first. Starling was intercepted in the end zone on their first drive. Aquinas had another sure TD pass bounce off the chest of a receiver - a huge break for the Trailblazers. A few sacks, a few turnovers and one tipped pass making a perfect landing in the hands of Justice = 7 unanswered TD's after that.
Faith, confidence and composure - are things that once fell a giant.
I know the 2009 GEHS Trailblazers have that - and take it to battle with them on Nov 28.
Go Blue!
