Returning for the second year to serve as DJ and MC was Clay Morgan from Radio Disney. He kept the atmosphere lively with music, dancing, games, prizes and announcements. The stroll commenced on time at 10:30 and all the strollers made 3 laps around the lake, which equals one mile.
After the stroll, Scott from Exotic Animals R Us entertained all the big and little kids with an exotic animal show. We saw a fox, the worlds largest rabbit, a cat, a monkey and one creature I cannot name! Exotic Animals R Us animals have been seen on Rachel Ray, The Early Show, and David Letterman.
The event was a success, and raised $27,000 for Rett Syndrome research. Thank you to everyone for your donations and participation!
